Ukrainian doctors received 50 ambulances from the UAE government
Recently, the second batch of evacuation vehicles (27 units) arrived in Ukraine with the assistance of the Olena Zelenska Foundation and the Ministry of Health.
Each ambulance is, in fact, an intensive care unit on wheels. The donated ambulances are equipped with oxygen cylinders, heart monitors, defibrillators, electrocardiographs and artificial lung ventilation devices. They can save a person in case of cardiogenic shock, perform resuscitation, primary surgical treatment of wounds, provide general anesthesia, etc.
❝ At present, nearly 500 ambulances have been damaged, destroyed or seized by the Russians. The 27 evacuation ambulances we have received will help medics continue to work and save lives even in extremely difficult conditions. All vehicles are distributed to the regions most in need of special vehicles for medical evacuation and assistance.
