Kherson became a place for three-day intensive training for medics of the Emergency Medical Center
The New Year started with a bang: a three-day training for medics of the Emergency Medical Care Center took place in Kherson on January 8-10, 2025. The event was held as part of a project to strengthen the capacity of training departments to retrain emergency medical personnel.
The training was organized by the Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Center for EMC and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine (Vitaliy Krylyuk) with the support of the International Committee of the Red Cross (Thomas Wilp). Participants practiced providing emergency care to adults in critical conditions, mastered advanced resuscitation measures, practicing on high-tech mannequins and simulators.
A special feature of the training was working in realistic simulations that modeled situations as close to real life as possible. This aroused keen interest and high motivation among the trainees, as they were able to practice algorithms for dealing with critical cases that they might encounter in their daily practice. This approach not only improved their professional skills, but also increased their confidence in their ability to respond quickly in extreme conditions.

The training will continue in the future, covering other regional EMC centers, to create a sustainable emergency medical care system that is ready for any challenge.
