We are happy to welcome our Japanese colleagues to Ukraine again!
As part of the third working visit, the Japanese delegation got acquainted with the key elements of the health care system operating in war and emergency situations.
In the focus of the program:
Public health emergency response system. Peculiarities of responding to CBRN threats. Incident management system in Ukraine.
Particular attention was paid to the Kyiv City Emergency Hospital, which is one of the key institutions that receives urgent patients. The delegation got acquainted with the structure and functioning of the hospital, as well as the processes of responding to critical cases.
Visits were also made to:
• State Institution “National Research Center for Radiation Medicine of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine”, where the Ukrainian approach to responding to radiation incidents was presented.
• The Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine in Kyiv. Kyiv – colleagues saw the work of the operational dispatch service and the functioning of emergency medical teams in the metropolis.
Such cooperation is not just an exchange of experience. It is about working together to make healthcare systems more resilient and adapt to modern challenges.
