The training on effective coordination in emergency situations completed
Coordination is an essential element of a successful response to any emergency, from the person who first receives the call, to those who travel to the scene, to those who take care of security, logistics and equipment. That’s what participants in our recent Effective Coordination in Emergency Situations training learned and practiced earlier this month.
This training, supported by USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance, is part of WHO’s broader commitment to strengthen preparedness planning and improve the coherence of emergency response.
The participants, including representatives of 25 regions, as well as key partners from the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, regional centers for disease control and prevention (RCDCP), the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and the SI “USPCE and DM of MOH of Ukraine” training completed.
