Specialists of the Institution were delegates of the 44th World Congress of Orthopedic Traumatologists SICOT
The Institute’s specialists were delegates to the 44th World Congress of Orthopedic and Trauma Surgeons (SICOT), which took place in Belgrade (Serbia) on September 23-28.
Based on the results of the Institute’s scientific research, 2 oral and 5 electronic reports were presented, which aroused great interest among scientists and practitioners. Particular attention was drawn to the reports on the medical and sanitary consequences of hostilities for civilians and the impact of COVID-19 on the course of the trauma process.
Working meetings were also held with the current President of SICOT and the President-Elect. At these meetings, a number of problems of trauma surgery in emergency situations, primarily of a military nature, were discussed. There is an agreement to extend contacts.
