Specialists of our Institution took an active part in the First Joint Neurological Conference with TF4UKR in Lviv
The purpose of this conference was to discuss how to improve stroke care in Ukraine. Our report highlighted the key aspects of emergency medical care for stroke patients, including the role of the emergency medical system in early detection, treatment and transportation of patients to appropriate specialized healthcare facilities.
In addition to the best national stroke care specialists, the conference was attended by renowned experts from Italy, Denmark, Iceland and Israel, who also shared their experience in the development of stroke medicine and discussed topical issues of its improvement in Ukraine. Ukrainian experts presented the progress made in organizing and providing medical care to stroke patients and coordinating the functioning of stroke centers over the past few years, emphasizing the importance of international cooperation for further improvement in this area.
Participation in this event was inspiring, and the conference became a platform for sharing experiences and identifying further ways to develop stroke care in Ukraine.
