Preparations of the Institution’s disaster medicine teams for the upcoming international classification process in accordance with WHO standards are underway
The Institution, with the active support of the World Health Organization Ukraine, continues to prepare the Institution’s Type 1 disaster medicine teams (mobile and fixed) for the upcoming international classification process in accordance with WHO standards.
Recently, a WHO consultant, WASH and logistics specialist Richard DEAR, visited the hospital to analyze the existing material and technical base, regulations and other key aspects.
The purpose of this visit was to develop further steps to optimize the already developed processes and policies to ensure the effective passage of the upcoming international classification. This process is aimed at increasing the efficiency and readiness of the Institution’s teams to respond to emergencies, in particular at the international level.
