The Institution’s experts conducted a regular monitoring visit, the main purpose of which was to focus on disaster preparedness
The Center’s specialists made a regular monitoring visit to the Zakarpattia Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine.

The visit focused on the Center’s readiness to respond to mass casualty emergencies, in particular, on the specifics of the functioning of disaster medicine teams, including coordination mechanisms, interaction with other services, including rescuers and police, as well as preparation for possible challenges in the region.

We also discussed the training of EMS workers in the training department and their curricula, including the skills necessary for rapid response in emergencies. In addition, we touched upon the issue of staffing and financial support for the institution, which directly affects its effectiveness in critical situations.

We would like to thank the head of the Center and the staff for their openness and productive dialogues, which contributed to a deeper understanding of current issues and opportunities for further improvement of the emergency medical care system in the region.
Together to Victory!
