The Institution’s experts visited the Odesa Emergency Medical Center to implement a new improved emergency notification system
As part of the project to unify and automate the processes of submitting information in the functional subsystem of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine on emergency situations, our specialists visited the Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine of Odesa region. The purpose of the visit was to train the staff of the Odesa EMC to use a specially created module in the Microsoft List application on the Microsoft 365 platform to submit information about emergencies.

In addition, employees of the operational dispatch units of the Emergency Medical Center and the City of Poltava and Kyiv regions have already completed similar online training.

One of the key areas to ensure high-quality and timely medical care for victims is to involve, if necessary, disaster medicine teams and forces from neighboring regions. This is possible only through a system of prompt notification of emergencies. Thus, the improvement of the existing information system has become especially important due to the Russian aggression against Ukraine, when civilians suffer daily from a full-scale war with the use of terrorist methods.

We express our gratitude for the fruitful cooperation at the initial stages of the project in developing the existing processes of informing about emergencies to the employees of the operational and dispatching units of the emergency medical care and disaster medicine centers in Zaporizhzhia and Dnipro regions.
