Scientists from the Institute took part in an international scientific and practical conference entitled “Rivne-Volyn Meetings. Current Issues in Orthopedics, Traumatology, and Vertebrology”
The conference addressed a number of pressing issues related to combat trauma, with particular attention paid to providing assistance to the wounded at the pre-hospital and early hospital stages. The issue of training medical personnel was discussed separately.
At the conference, Professor Serhiy Guriev, Deputy Director of the Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, gave a presentation on the impact of social networks on the training of modern orthopedic surgeons and traumatologists. The report was very well received by doctors and scientists and sparked a lively discussion.
Several round tables were also held, in particular on the provision of emergency medical care to victims with injuries.
