Two important events took place at our institution – the signing of memorandums of cooperation
Recently, two important events have taken place at our institution: the signing of memorandums of cooperation with the Swiss Foundation for Innovation Ukraine and the Ukrainian Medical and Humanitarian Foundation UOSSM Charitable Organization.
The signing of the documents was the result of productive meetings between the management of the Institution, in particular, Director Vitaliy Kryliuk, and a representative of the UOSSM Foundation, Muhammad Zaidiy, and the founder and chairman of the board of the Swiss Foundation for Innovation Ukraine, Christian Vögeli.
The purpose of cooperation with the Swiss Foundation for Innovation Ukraine is to support the development of the emergency medical services (EMS) system in Ukraine and to introduce modern approaches to improve the quality of medical services.
The memorandum covers the following key areas:
Medical transportation of patients (ALS/ICU), including those requiring intensive care, based on European standards.
Training and professional development of medical personnel – the exchange of experience and joint training on emergency medical care are envisaged.
Implementation of pilot projects: working together to introduce new models of healthcare services adapted to Ukrainian conditions, including emergency preparedness and response.
The main areas of cooperation stipulated in the memorandum with UOSSM are the organization of training courses for doctors, improvement of medical education and development of the emergency medical care system in Ukraine.
We remind you that with the support of the Foundation, extremely important courses for doctors of surgical specialties have already been organized and conducted in Ukraine with the participation of experts from the David Nott Foundation. As part of the new agreement reached during the meeting, it is planned to support the next training courses.
We believe that our cooperation will help strengthen Ukraine’s healthcare system, improve the training of medical personnel and improve the medical infrastructure to respond effectively to emergency challenges. We are confident that the implementation of joint initiatives will help improve the quality of emergency medical care in Ukraine, which is extremely important in today’s environment.
We thank our partners from the Swiss Foundation for Innovation Ukraine and the Ukrainian Medical and Humanitarian Foundation UMHF for their trust and support. Together, we are able to introduce important changes and create new opportunities for the development of Ukrainian medicine.
