Exercises to improve preparedness for emergencies related to CBRN threats were held in Kyiv
From September 25 to 27, 2024, our employees took part in an exercise organized by the World Health Organization Ukraine in Kyiv. The main purpose of the event was to improve emergency preparedness for CBRN threats (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear), as well as to improve interagency coordination and cooperation with international partners.

During the exercise, participants worked on a simulation of an emergency situation, focusing on the following aspects:
Establishment of interagency communication: representatives of various services practiced mechanisms for exchanging information and joint actions in a crisis situation.
Medical response: special attention was paid to hospitalization routes for victims and coordination between disaster medicine units and inpatient healthcare facilities.
Information management strategies: Plans were developed to effectively inform the public and combat disinformation to minimize panic and ensure the proper response of the population. Particular emphasis was placed on using modern communication channels to quickly deliver truthful information, counteract rumors, and manage media inquiries during the crisis.
Such exercises are an important part of preparing for modern challenges. Cooperation between government agencies, international organizations and emergency response services helps to improve emergency preparedness and ensure public safety.
Together to Victory!
