The Ukrainian team, including the employees of our Institution, became the winners of the International Competition of EMS Teams during the RESUSCITATION-2024 Congress
On October 31-November 2, the European Resuscitation Council Congress RESUSCITATION-2024 was held in Athens, Greece, to discuss the possibilities of using artificial intelligence in emergency medicine, the use of augmented reality in CPR training for doctors and people without medical education, etc.
As part of this Congress, representatives from 18 countries took part in the International Competition of Emergency Medical Teams in Resuscitation.
The competition was held on high-tech mannequins, whose task was to help a critical patient in a state of sudden cardiac arrest.
For the first time at such a championship, Ukraine was among the top three winners and became the leader, which is a particularly symbolic and valuable achievement in our time!
We are proud of the winners and congratulate our team members, in particular the staff of our Institution (Larysa Chubenko) and the staff of the Ternopil National Medical University named after I.Y. Gorbachevsky (Halyna Tsymbaliuk, Roman Huk, Nargiz Dzhavadova, Iryna Denysiuk).
In general, the topics announced for discussion include the possibilities of using artificial intelligence in emergency medicine, the use of augmented reality in CPR training for doctors and people without medical education, traumatic brain injury in cardiac arrest, and much more.
